The Telangana government declared a general holiday on March 8 on the occasion of Maha Shivratri across Telangana.

Schools to remain closed on Maha Shivratri

Not only government offices but also schools and educational institutions to remain closed on March 8th.

Schools in Telangana will have 3 days of consecutive holidays i.e. on March 8th, 9th and 10th. 8th being Maha Shivratri, 9th Second Saturday and 10th being Sunday.

March holidays in Telangana

Telangana is to observe two more holidays in the month of March apart from the Maha Shivratri Holiday.

March 25th and 29th are also declared as holidays in Telangana on the occasion of Holi and Good Friday.
